The BetiBachaoBetiPadhao (BBBP) scheme was launched on 22nd of January 2015 by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in Panipath Haryana with the aim to address the declining Child Sex Ratio (CSR) and other related issues to women empowerment especially education.
