DDC Budgam flags off Himayat Mobilization Van for rural youth

Budgam, Jan 9: District Development Commissioner, Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today flagged of Mobilization Van under  DDU-GKY Himayat programme to generate awareness among the rural youth about various skill development and placement oriented courses in the district.

The Mobilization Van was flagged off from the DC office Budgam, it will tour the length and breadth of the district to reach as many as rural youth to generate awareness and attract them towards skill development programmes.

The programme was organized by J&K SRLM, district Office Budgam in collaboration with Fidelis Corporate Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Banglore to generate awareness and share the experiences of benefits of the programme.

The programme is sponsored by the Ministry of Rural development under Skill Development and placement linked programme.

On the occasion, the DDC appealed the rural youth to actively get themselves enrolled for the skill development programmes for their benefit and for the larger benefit of the society.

She said that it was wonderful opportunity for the youth to learn and get trained under these skilled programmes and find better opportunities of placements.
