DDC Budgam reviews progress of Ring Road project, installation of Transmission line towers in district

Budgam, Jan 28: District Development Commissioner Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganaie today chaired a meeting of officers to take review of the progress of Ring Road project in the district.

The meeting among others was attended by ADC, CPO, SE Hydraulics, ACD, ACR, SDMs, CMO, DIO, Ex. Ens of R&B, PMGSY, PDD, PHE, BDOs and authorities from NHAI were also present on the occasion.

The DDC instructed all concerned to expedite the work process to ensure timely completion of all works and projects. The chair was apprised that out of 42 PMGSY projects 32 have already been cleared by the department. It was revealed that out of 45 awards related to ring road project 23 have been finalized while as remaining shall be finalized soon. The DDC also took review of B2V2 works and projects being executed by various agencies in the district.

The DDC directed the PDD Ex.En to ensure completion of transmission line towers at Hayatpora and instructed concerned to call for PNC meeting to resolve land acquisition issues with owners next week.

Later on, DDC also reviewed the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission. The DDC laid stress on effective implementation so that every household is provided with tap water across the district.
