Marketing Support (Publicity and exhibitions)

Since the artisans/ craftsmen have not direct market linkages to sell their products in the national markets and the endeavour of the department is to provide marketing opportunities to the artisan fraternity to sell their artifacts so that the economic condition of the artisan be improved. Department of Handicrafts organises exhibition especially at market potential areas in and outside the UT as a regular feature to give much needed exposure to the artisans and their products.

Benefits:

To give exposure to the artisans and publicity of their artifacts to the large customer base in and outside the UT. The impact of which is to generate considerable from the sales by the participants in the local national market.
