DC Budgam inaugurates Diagnostic, X-ray centre at District Hospital Budgam

Budgam, Dec 07: DC Budgam Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar, today inaugurated newly constructed compound equipped with facilities including digital X-ray, laboratory, ECG and Ultrasound at District Hospital Budgam.

The compound constructed by R&B Budgam at an estimated cost of Rs 58 lac will provide multiple health facilities to the patients under one roof. However, the officials said that Ist floor of compound which is still under construction for which Rs. 27 lac has been allotted separately will be completed soon.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that it was the demand of the people to provide them better health infrastructure and facilities and the compound has been equipped with latest machinery and gadgets to ensure diagnostic, Digital X-ray, ECG and laboratory facilities to the patients.

She said that the district administration has been giving special focus to ensure better and hassle-free healthcare to the general public. 

She said that the compound would definitely improve health facilities in the district and patients would get largely benefited at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the DC directed the concerned to ensure prompt and better health care at the hospital and best use of the latest machinery and gadgets for patients.

Medical Superintendent District Hospital Budgam, Dr.  Deeba and other health officials and doctors were present on the occasion.
